Software Engineer, Senior

Ældre Sagen is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join Ældre Sagen's growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for Ældre Sagen's flagship product.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead complex technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in software development. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable and reliable software systems.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
